Delicious Doodles DT make - Oct 24, 2013

Hello everyone one!!!  It's Friday!!!! Soooo happy.  Not easy moving work place...

I'm all Halloween out... and this time our make is Halloween/Something scary... so I went something scary ;o)  And I was really inspired with the challenge of Quoth the raven for my Something scary card!  I decided to check out Poe's poetry and use a quote from Spirits of the dead for this.

I also went monochromatic.  I think it's more fitting for this scary make!!!  The image that I used is The graveyard.

The paper is from DCWV - Midnight spell.  I added some mess from a piece of cloth that is supposed to be used as an Halloween decoration.  I printed the image twice to be able to fussy cut some of the gravestones and pop them up.  I put some spiders as well on the mesh.  The sentiment was cut tearing along the edge.  And I put some Heidi swapp tinsel spray on it.

Here's a closer look at the digi colored lightly with my copics.

Here's a closer look at the part of the poem that type in words with a freebie font found here.  I thought this part of the poem was really perfect for this graveyard scene.
And a sideview of my card so you can see the depth!!!
So do you like my little creepy make?

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:

  1. Quoth the raven - Poeetisms
  2. Left of center challenges - Halloween or creepy
  3. Musically challenged challenge - Bark at the moon - there's a cemetery scene... reminded me of that.
That's it on this creepy side of the web.

Hugs
